Man, 39, arrested after violent break-in and assault at Rosewater
Police have arrested a man after he assaulted a woman who confronted him during a break-in at a gift shop.

A man has been arrested after allegedly breaking into a gift shop through a window at Rosewater.
Police were called to Grand Junction Rd after being alerted to a break-in and assault at about 2.20am on Friday.
Following an investigation, police will allege that the man broke into the shop through a side window, however, once he got inside he was confronted by the residents.
The man allegedly pushed the resident – a woman aged in her 70s – and then smashed another window to gain entry onto the roof of the property.
The suspect then jumped from the roof and made his way east on Grand Junction Rd.
Western District patrols located the man nearby with minor injuries.
The 39-year-old man from Pennington was arrested and taken to hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
He is expected to be charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, aggravated assault and property damage. He will be appearing in Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
The victim was not physically injured as a result of the assault.
