A man wanted by police after his suspected involvement in a violent and bloody altercation in Adelaide’s southern suburbs last month – has been arrested this morning.
Authorities received a tip off about Joshua House’s whereabouts this morning at 4am, alleging the man was hiding in a Morphett Vale house.
Patrols and detectives quickly searched the house where they located the 27-year-old inside.
House will be interviewed and face numerous charges including attempted murder.
It is expected he will be refused bail and will appear in court on Monday.
House was wanted over a serious assault that occurred on March 29 at Morphett Vale.
A court has previously heard Nikita Peacock, 21, allegedly approached the house with three other men and knocked on the front door. Jared Hocking, 27, came to answer.
The three men allegedly forced their way inside and, while brandishing a knife, crowbar and a machete, chased Mr Hocking through his own house while Peacock filmed the incident on her phone.
Emergency services rushed to the Columba St home where they found Mr Hocking had sustained stab wounds and was in need of urgent medical care to mend a perforated lung.
While police were at the property, Ms Peacock’s co-accused Bowen Milne was captured on CCTV also arriving at Flinders Medical Centre with serious stab wounds suspected of having been received during the same attack.
Mr Milne, 22, appeared in court the day after Ms Peacock in a bedside hearing, after undergoing surgery for lacerations to his head and thigh sustained during the alleged attack.
Both defendants are yet to enter any pleas to aggravated serious criminal trespass and attempted murder.
Mr Milne has also been charged with aggravated cause harm with intent.
At their respective court appearances, both Ms Peacock and Mr Milne were denied bail by Magistrate Kylie Schulz who said there was a need to protect the alleged victim, Mr Hocking, and the wider community.
One person remains on the run following the attack.
