Former State Liberal Party President John Malcom West In Custody After 34 Years On The Run 17/05/2022

After 34 years on the run in Africa and Europe, former state Liberal Party president and lawyer John Malcolm West is in custody in South Australia on historical fraud charges. 

The heartbroken father of a teenager killed in a crash at Athelstone has described his son as a “caring, bright” person who wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a doctor.
