Drug driver slams into hospital, flees police at Renmark in Riverland mayhem
A car has crashed into a local hospital before the driver left the scene and mounted a kerb as he allegedly drove towards police patrols.

A car crashed into a Riverland hospital before the driver allegedly fled the scene, in the early hours of Thursday morning.
About 12.40am, police patrols spotted a white Suzuki station wagon driving on Renmark Ave and tried to stop it.
However, the driver did not stop and the car took off.
Police say about five minutes later they received reports the same car had smashed into the main entrance of the Renmark hospital and then left the scene.
The car was then spotted in a shopping centre car park but, on spotting patrols, the driver allegedly drove towards the patrol car and mounted a kerb.
Police attempted to speak with the driver however the driver again took off before the car was eventually stopped on Industry Rd and the driver was removed from the car.
The man submitted to a drug test where he returned a positive result to methamphetamine.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital where he was set to be assessed.
