Domestic Abuse Surged During Pandemic 05/04/2021
Reports of domestic violence surged during the coronavirus pandemic according to police statistics. In the six months that South Australians were encouraged to stay inside to stop the spread of coronavirus there were 440 more reports of domestic violence assaults than in the same period in 2019.A man was fighting for life in the Royal Adelaide Hospital last night after contracting COVID-19 while overseas.
