He’s used to running around in front of 50,000 screaming fans at the Adelaide Oval, but today Reilly O’Brien has proven he’s talented on other sporting fields.

The 202cm Adelaide Crow took to social media to celebrate an incredible hole in one shot which happened during the club’s annual golf day at the Mount Compass Golf Course.

The star big man proudly posed with the ball in hand, captioning the post, “Why you should always wear two pairs of jocks on the golf course”.

Speaking to The Advertiser, O’Brien said the moment was even more memorable as he was playing alongside teammates Lachie Murphy, Brodie Smith and Nick Murray.

“The tee box is elevated so I could see it rolling towards the hole and then it vanished … pretty pure sporting elation,” O’Brein said.

“It felt pretty unreal”

He said it was his number one sporting accomplishment outside of footy.

Current and former teammates were quick to congratulate the ruckman, alongside other retired footy stars.

“What the actual hell”, former Crow and close mate Ned McHenry commented.

“This is cap broski,” Crows young gun Josh Rachele replied.

“Love this,” retired Tigers and GWS player Brett Deledio said.

It comes ten days out of the Crows opening game of the season against St Kilda at Adelaide Oval.
