Our interactive sliders show just how much water has inundated our riverside towns with before and after images that will shock you.

Back in October we were warned a crisis was coming - the swollen River Murray was about to overflow as water from interstate floods made its way downstream to SA.

An emergency was declared - the third for SA this year - as shacks and businesses prepared for the flooding.

Below we’ve selected a series of places photographed before the flooding and during the unfolding crisis.
