Apology regarding Munno Para attempted carjacking
The Advertiser has issued an apology regarding an attempted carjacking in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.

On or about October 23, 2024, advertiser.com.au published an article about an attempted carjacking that occurred on Peachey Road at Munno Para in South Australia.
Regrettably, that article referred to the person who intervened to prevent the carjacking as a “convicted killer”.
That description is and was false of the person concerned.
We apologise to the person concerned and his family for the error and the hurt caused to him by reason of that mistake.
