Adelaide rental crisis: Share your stories with us

Adelaide’s rental crisis means some people are being forced to live in homes that don’t meet their needs or are substandard to say the least. We want to hear your stories.

Rental crisis hits breaking point for NSW families

Adelaide’s rental crisis was laid bare today when welfare group Anglicare revealed only two of more than 1000 properties available in the city could be afforded by singles on a minimum wage.

The two affordable options were both single rooms, one in Salisbury for $180 per week, and one in Richmond, a bedroom for $125 per week.

But along with not being able to find a property, some tenants are reporting they have to endure the landlord from hell, in unsafe or decaying accommodation.

Is this you? Tell us your story, anonymously or by name. The Advertiser wants to reveal the other side of the rental crisis, the thousands who are suffering in silence.

Do you have a roof over your head but are too scared to complain about how bad it is?
