Sibling duo set to shine at Townsville Shopping Centre performance
Local brother-and-sister duo Lucas and Ella are set to take the stage at Townsville Shopping Centre this weekend, bringing some serious talent to the school holiday fun.

Sibling duo Lucas and Ella are getting ready to perform at a popular Townsville shopping centre, with local talent locked in to perform these school holidays.
With both attending The Voice Singing School, the brother and sister will be entertaining the crowds this weekend.
Mum Lani Smith said her kids cannot wait to perform.
“Lucas and Ella are regular performers all over Townsville, but they’ve never performed inside a shopping centre,” she said.
Townsville Shopping Centre manager Kelly Taylor-Smith said musicians and local art will be on display across the centre.
“We’re proud to support homegrown talent like the brilliant locals you’re going to hear in the centre’s food court this weekend,” she said.
Local artist Nicky Bidjui Pryor will unveiling a painted piano and musicians including the 3RAR Pipe Major band will perform.
“As part of our support for arts, culture and music, Townsville Shopping Centre is also proudly sponsoring the North Australian Festival of Arts and you don’t want to miss the displays and entertainers in the centre,” Ms Taylor-Smith said.
The performances will be held in the food court from 11.30am-1.30pm on September 28.
Other installations and activities include giant clown fish and octopus displays around the shopping centre and the colourful Selfie-Station in the fashion corridor.
The Snuff Puppet Seagulls will also be flying into the shopping centre from the Northern Australian Festival of Arts from 11.30am-2pm on Saturday, September 28.
