A 43-year-old man had his case mentioned for this first time in Kingaroy court following a bizarre callout to a Booie property.

Police were called to an address on Schellbachs Road between Curtis Road and Haydens Road about 1.30pm on February 6.

Multiple crews could be seen surrounding the property and road spikes were set up.

Following investigations, specialist police along with officers from the Kingaroy Criminal Investigation Branch arrested the man at a Nanango address on Tuesday, February 11.

Curtis Dale Hayden has been charged with one count each of dangerous conduct with a weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving tainted property and an offence related to unauthorised and prohibited explosives.

Mr Hayden had been remanded into custody and did not appear in court and was represented by his lawyer over the phone.

Several friends and supporters of Mr Hayden were in attendance in court, sitting quietly in the back of the room.

There was no application for bail.

Magistrate Andrew Sinclair adjourned the matter until Monday, February 17.
