There has been a lucky escape after two vehicles crashed on the Sunshine Motorway

Two drivers have miraculously escaped serious injury after a terrifying crash on the Sunshine Coast.

The Sunshine Motorway crash at Mountain Creek occurred at 8.05pm, Thursday, July 24 and involved two vehicles, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said.

Two people were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with back pain, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.

One fire crew attended the crash, which occurred at an off ramp but there were no entrapments, a Queensland Fire Department spokesman said.
