Teen flown by LifeFlight from Noosa River to PA in Brisbane
A teen has been rushed to a Brisbane hospital after being significantly injured at a popular Noosa swim spot.

A teenager has been flown to a Brisbane hospital after hitting her head on a sandbank in Noosa.
Rescue chopper LifeFlight was called to the swimming incident on the Noosa River about 4.20pm on Sunday.
The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew flew a teenager from the Noosa River mouth.
Footage from the landing helicopter showed boats and people crowding around the sandbank where the patient had been retrieved from the water.
It is understood the girl teenager struck her head on a sandbank while swimming in the river.
The LifeFlight critical care doctor and Queensland Ambulance Service flight paramedic together with local QAS paramedics treated the patient for suspected back and neck injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the teen suffered “significant” injuries and was taken stable to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane for further treatment.
