Sunshine Coast company Richmond Labour Hire Pty Ltd enters liquidation
A Queensland director has placed his labour hire company into liquidation with a million dollar debt, less than two years after the collapse of his separate contracting company.
A Sunshine Coast director has placed his labour hire company into liquidation, less than two years after the collapse of his separate contracting company.
The company, Richmond Labour Hire Pty Ltd, was placed into liquidation last week, with Jarvis Archer appointed to complete the winding up.
Richmond Labour Hire was first registered in May 2024, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission documents show.
According to documents filed with the corporate regulator, the company is estimated to owe about $941,301 to the Australian Taxation Office and $3510 to WorkCover.
There was also a projected debt of $209,715 owed to the ATO for a super guarantee charge, according to the report on creditors.
The documents state the company has about $1.32m in assets, which are listed as coming from sundry debtors.
ASIC documents show the company was directed by Twin Waters man, Zachary Alexander Osa Richmond, and operated from an address in Kunda Park.
ASIC records also show Mr Richmond was the director of the collapsed company, Richmond Contracting Pty Ltd, which was placed into liquidation in May last year.
The separate company, Richmond Contracting, was estimated to owe about $2,022,621 in debts in June 2024.
As of June last year, creditors with the largest estimated debts include Caterpillar Financial Australia Limited owed $726,045, as well as the Australian Taxation Office with a debt of approximately $863,619.
