A man has been charged after shots were allegedly fired at a parked car in Brisbane’s north on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to Gladdon Street at Bald Hills after reports of a shot allegedly being fired into an unoccupied car about 10.30am

No one was injured in the incident, which police allege was targeted.

A crime scene was declared at the location, while police attended a home at Nudgee Road at Northgate where two men were taken into custody.

Police allege a shotgun was found at the property.

A 20-year-old Bald Hills man was charged with 11 offences including one count each of discharge weapon in public place, wilful damage, unlawful possession of weapons category A, possess shortened firearm, using vehicle for which a number plate required, driving vehicle without a licence, unlawful stalking, assault occasioning harm domestic violence offence, wilful damage domestic violence offence, and deprivation of liberty, authority required to possess explosives.

He is expected to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are ongoing.
