One of the Brisbane Broncos’ inaugural NRLW stars has re-signed to become a club member for life.
Julia Robinson, who made her debut during the inaugural NRLW season in 2018, has become the first female player to be honoured with the title at the club.
“I’m so excited, I’ve always wanted to be a one-club person, and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the Broncos for all of my rugby league career,” Robinson said.
The 26-year-old has won three premierships with the Broncos, three State of Origin series for Queensland and a Women’s World Cup for Australia in 2022, throughout her 24-game career, with no plans on playing elsewhere.
“It’s such a fantastic club, especially with how much they support us – you can’t help but want to be a part of it,” Robinson said.
“I would like a few more premierships.
“I want to get to the grand final again and hopefully bring the trophy home for Brisbane.”
Robinson was on Monday also announced as the club’s first ever female game development officer.
The Broncos winger visited fans at Aspley Special School on Monday morning alongside former league player Andrew McCullough.
