Pheobe Bishop’s mum has shared heartbreaking images of jewellery she had made featuring the hair of her allegedly murdered daughter.

The tribute comes as it was revealed Pheobe’s boyfriend, who she was on her way to meet on the last day she was seen alive, made the 5000 kilometre trip to attend the family’s private farewell for the 17-year-old this week.

Pheobe’s mum Kylie Johnson said she and her daughter Kaylea would always have a ‘piece of Phee Phee’.

“Wherever we go she is with us.’’

The beautiful pieces were designed by Ash Northern Jewellery Co.

“Ash has been amazing, compassionate and empathetic on this journey with us and honestly Kaylea and I love what she’s done! This is some of Phee Phee’s hair designed into one side and a photo into the other.’’

She later posted a picture of the trees with the sun shining through them in the form of a heart.

“Every morning I wake up I can see the sun rising.

“I never noticed till you went missing that the trees have formed a heart and it’s so beautiful.

“I know this is your way of sending me love and I know you feel our love and heartache at losing you.’’

Pheobe, 17, had been on her way to see her boyfriend Levi when she vanished en route from her hometown of Gin Gin to Bundaberg Airport on May 15.

She never made the flight and weeks later, her remains were discovered after extensive searches near Goodnight Scrub National Park.

Pheobe’s former housemates Tanika Bromley, 33, and James Wood, 34, have been charged with her murder and are in jail awaiting their next court appearance. Neither has entered pleas.

A third person, Bundaberg man Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

The 30-year-old was taken into custody outside a local fast food outlet on Tuesday night.

He remains in custody after making no application for bail or entering any pleas.

On Monday, Pheobe’s family and friends farewelled the teenager with tributes and bright outfits to celebrate the ‘free spirit’.

Pheobe’s distraught older sister Kaylea was pictured by a photographer being held back by an aunt after she was overcome by emotion.

Just behind her, as the family watched her coffin drive off, Pheobe’s boyfriend could be seen standing in the crowd, the Daily Mail reported.

‘As upsetting as it was, it meant a lot for him to be there as they laid her to rest,’ a family friend told Daily Mail Australia.

“His father Rick supported that decision and did everything he could to make sure he was able to attend and get some closure.”

“They were so far away when all this began and Phee went missing and it just added to the pain he was feeling.”

It was earlier revealed the teenager had called Levi on the morning she went missing while being driven to the airport but he was unable to hear anything before the call cut off.

He waited for her to arrive but after she failed to show up, raised the alarm.

Levi’s mother, Jade Warry, was killed in a car crash in Bundaberg in 2020.

The Daily Mail reported that Rick and Jade had been planning their wedding for the following year.

The family moved to WA for a fresh start.

Ms Johnson was ‘devastated’ to farewell her daughter.

In an Instagram post she wrote: ”When Phee went missing the two things I wanted was her home and answers.

“Today she comes home but not walking through the door or riding her scooter down the driveway or across the paddock. My beautiful wild Gypsy is coming home with a stranger so that we as a family, friends and community can put her to rest …

“My heart has never felt so broken, my world has never been so shattered and I’ve never felt so helpless in my life.

“I would give my life for yours in a heartbeat Phee Phee. I hope no one ever has to experience this pain, this heartache, devastation or complete helplessness that I feel right now.”

“Fly high my beautiful Gypsy! Drive fast cars with Poppy and Cozza. Run in vast fields full of wildflowers and sunflowers with D, Rex and Moo. But promise me you will meet me at the gates of heaven when it’s my time.”
