Mount Lindesay Highway after four-car crash at Cedar Grove

A highway south of Brisbane is closed in both directions following a serious crash involving four vehicles.

A highway south of Brisbane was closed in both directions following a serious crash involving four vehicles.

Emergency services were called to Mount Lindesay Highway at Cedar Grove shortly after 8am Sunday.

Nine people were assessed by paramedics at the scene.

Three patients were taken to hospital, with two taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital and one to Gold Coast University Hospital. The other patients did not require hospital transport.

The Forensic Crash Unit was dispatched to the scene, with the highway still closed in both directions at 10.25am.
