A man has died after being shot south of Brisbane on Friday morning.
A manhunt is underway after a man died after being shot in the back in Logan this morning.
The 41-year-old Slacks Creek man was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition but died en route.
Emergency services were called to Rowanda St in Slacks Creek about 1am and found a man with a gunshot wound.
Police allege the shooting was a targeted incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
The street has been taped off while several were police cars parked on both sides of the street.
Rowanda St was quiet and still as police continued investigations.
It comes just two days after a 35-year-old Bahrs Scrub man was allegedly gunned down, 10km away at a Beenleigh park on Wednesday.
