A man is fighting for life after an e-scooter crash in Brisbane’s South on Wednesday night.
Emergency crews rushed to the Southeast Busway in South Brisbane at 11:54pm following reports of an e-scooter crash.
Paramedics, including the High Acuity Response Unit, attended the scene and treated one man involved.
The man was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a life-threatening condition with head and facial injuries.
It comes as a surge in deaths and serious injuries from the use of e-scooters has triggered a landmark parliamentary inquiry into the industry.
