Homeless man found dead in Bundaberg public toilet block

The body of a man in his 30s has been found in a Bundaberg public toilet block.

A man was found unresponsive early Tuesday morning in Bundaberg Central.

Emergency crews were called to the Quay St toilet block along the Burnett River at about 12.46am after reports of an unresponsive man.

Paramedics arrived on scene and discovered the body of a man in his 30s.

Police confirmed the man died.

Chief Inspector for Bundaberg Grant Marcus said the man’s death appears to be from natural causes.

“One of our homeless people has died there unfortunately while trying to sleep,” he said.

Police are not investigating.
