Police have found two children who went missing from the Tablelands last week, sparking a police search.
It comes just hours after a call for public information was made with concerns for the welfare of two young children who had been missing from Mareeba since Thursday .
The 11-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy known to each other were believed to be in the Cairns or Tablelands area.
The pair was located safe and well on Monday.
Investigators appealed for the children or anyone with further information to contact police.
