The students at Beerwah State High School have stepped out in style for this year’s formal celebration, with one making a moving tribute to her late father.

Graduates from Beerwah State High School stepped out in style at Venue 114 on Thursday night to celebrate the end of their schooling.

Students chose dresses in dazzling colours of red along with suits paired with sunglasses.

Graduate, Annabelle Mackinney-Clohesy, paid a special tribute to her late father arriving in a convoy of armoured vehicles led by an Australian Army PMV-L Hawkei, followed by a Bushmaster.

Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney was killed in action when Annabelle was two-years-old.
