Cooran fire burns down house

A brick home in the hinterland has been destroyed, with paramedics and firefighters called to the incident.

A small house has burned down in Cooran overnight.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said four crews rushed to the blaze in Arthys Rd at Cooran at 6.45pm last night.

A small three metre by three metre brick house was fully engulfed when fire crews arrived.

The blaze was contained to the structure and out within 45 minutes.

The Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics assisted at the scene at 6.48pm.

No patients were reported and paramedics left about 7.30pm.

All residents were accounted for.

The Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the cause would be investigated.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the fire had been deemed non suspicious.
