Chaos has erupted outside Suncorp Stadium as thousands of eager Travis Scott fans began descending on the venue well ahead of the rapper’s highly anticipated concert, with rowdy scenes breaking out even before gates opened.

Videos circulating on TikTok as early as 4pm captured young fans hurling water bottles, crowd surfing, and blocking entrances in anticipation of the 8.45pm show.

Despite gates not officially opening until 5.30pm, devoted fans began gathering at midday, creating a dense, restless crowd outside the stadium.

“It’s already starting up in Brisbane,” one TikTok caption read, with the post dubbing the crowd’s antics “shenanigans” in light of similar chaos at Scott’s Melbourne concert earlier in the week.

In Melbourne, fans reportedly jumped fences, threw metal barricades, and clashed with police.

While no major injuries were reported, several attendees were denied entry or ejected from the venue for anti-social behaviour.

In Sydney, tensions escalated further when a fan was allegedly knocked out after being put in a chokehold and thrown to the ground by another concertgoer during Scott’s October 17 show.

The rapper, known for his high-energy performances and dedicated fanbase, has faced criticism in the past for similar incidents at his shows.

Most notably, his 2021 Astroworld Festival in Houston ended in tragedy when a stampede left ten concertgoers dead and hundreds injured, leading to wrongful death lawsuits.

Scott’s Brisbane show marks the tour’s final Australian stop before he heads to Auckland, New Zealand.
