21-year-old motorcyclist dies after crash in Logan
Police are investigating after a young motorcyclist's life was cut tragically short in a crash south of Brisbane.
A 21-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash in Berrinba, Logan late last night.
Police say the incident occurred around 9:45pm on Friday when a green Kawasaki ZX10R motorcycle, travelling west on Gilmore Road, collided with a parked truck trailer.
The rider, a Logan local and the sole occupant of the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and is appealing to the public for assistance. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage of the motorcycle leading up to the crash to come forward.
Investigations remain ongoing.
