The three-bedroom home sold to a family from the Yeppoon area.

A beachside cottage on Great Keppel Island has sold to a family from the Yeppoon area for $1.36 million.

Located across from Fisherman’s Beach, the property at 68 Esplanade, The Keppels, sold on June 18 through Ray White Yeppoon.

Sales agent Kate Stock said negotiations started in the first week of the property hitting the market.

“It was within the first couple of inquiries that the property went under contract,” Ms Stock said.

“It was jumped on straight away.”

She said the property had received multiple offers and sold to a family from the Yeppoon area.

The property was fully furnished and boasted three-bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry, open style kitchen, and a spacious veranda on a 1012 sqm block, nestled among established gardens.

The property also featured three water tanks, generator, solar panels, and shed.

Ms Stock said it didn’t get more magnificent than owning your own slice of paradise on Great Keppel Island.

“I think there is a huge attraction to Great Keppel Island because we have all had experiences there,” she said.
