MELISSA Crosbie runs the Zeehan neighbourhood centre and has helped improve the quality of life for the town’s children, youth and elderly.
She has formed numerous groups for the town’s youth and created a ”lunch with a mate” program for senior citizens.
She also spends many hours applying for grants to better the community.
Melissa was presented with the Community Spirit medal at the Pride of Australia 2014 Tasmanian awards.
