Three fresh faces have been put forward for the Jacqui Lambie Network (JLN) in the seat of Lyons as part of a JLN move to secure a place in the Tasmanian parliament.

Troy Pfitzner, Andrew Jenner and Lesley Pyecroft have become new candidates in the battle for the next state election, with Senator Jacqui Lambie stating their “real-life experience” will set them apart.

“We are coming for you Tasmania,” she said.

“If you want a fourth party in this state, then have a good look at us.

“If you want people with real-life experience, here they are.”

“I have a real-life background, I have a family and cost of living is affecting me really heavily right now,” he said.

“I’m representing the small man, the small business and the households who can’t pay the bills.”

Former United Kingdom magistrate and councillor, Richmond-based Andrew Jenner, said his knowledge of local government will help to change the status quo for everyday Tasmanians.

“The logo says it all: people before politics,” he said.

“In my life, I have seen just the opposite and that’s what we are here to change.”

Lesley Pyecroft, a school nurse who works casually at the Launceston General Hospital, said she has seen the “huge health issues” at play during her career.

“Education and health are big issues for me, particularly mental health,” she said.

Senator Lambie continued her hard line approach to political donations, saying her and her candidates will continue to be transparent about their donations over $1000.

“We don’t take those big political donations, so we are only influenced by the people of Tasmania themselves,” she said.

“You can’t buy a Lambie – all the decisions we make down here are what’s best for Tasmania, not what’s best for backers.

“I think if anyone wants to see anything fixed this year, it’s our health and our education, so no doubt we will be going in hard on that.”

The announcement of Lambie’s Lyons candidates comes before what she believes will be a state election in the first half of next year.

“We are not going to take any chances, I want these guys out there,” she said.
