Second place - Andrew Quilty's 'Burns Victim': In Boost Hospital (run by Medicines Sans Frontiers) in the provincial capital of Helmand Province, Afghanistan, a young girl lies in an observation room after being burnt in an accident with an oil lamp. Needless to say, many other folks felt this way too. On a working Tuesday, not only was the beach packed but the northern rock shelf was also chock full of people until well after dark.'
