Oliver the cheekiest bub in town

Winner of the ‘cheekiest boy’ title, Oliver Doherty, almost five-months-old, is a chilled out, happy baby, his dad Adrian said. And he’s got his ‘mum’s looks’ ... now that’s cheeky!

OLIVER Doherty, almost five-months-old, is a chilled out, happy baby, his dad Adrian said.

Not to mention Tassie’s “cheekiest” boy, according to Mercury readers.

Mr Doherty, from Claremont, said it was a nice accident winning the competition as he believed he had entered the photos into the Mercury’s “Tasmanian baby photos 2019” instead.

“It was a real surprise, real nice,” Mr Doherty said.

“He’s amazing, has his mum’s looks.”

The Tassie Tots competition series drew more than 200 entries from the proud families of Tasmanian kids aged 5 and under across categories including most adorable, cheekiest and best dressed.

Hundreds of votes were made in our polls for our three categories.

The boy and girl with the most votes in each category won a $100 Chemist Warehouse voucher.
