A three-year-old boy is fighting for life in hospital after being found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Sydney’s southwest, police are investigating the incident.

A toddler is fighting for life in hospital after being pulled from a swimming pool in Sydney’s southwest overnight.
Emergency services were called to a house in Moorebank, following reports a three-year-old boy had been found unresponsive in a backyard pool.
Paramedics attended and attempted to resuscitate the child.
The child was taken to Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital at Randwick where he remains in a critical condition.
Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
