NSW cops banned from using messaging apps

NSW Police officers have been banned from using WhatsApp, social media or any messaging platforms other than SMS on work mobile phones under a controversial ruling by Commissioner Karen Webb.

Sick cops exit before insurance changes kick in

The NSW Police Force and the police union insist changes to their insurance scheme are “a better deal for police officers” but the scrapping of the lump sum payment has caused an influx of psychological injury claims.
