One of Australia’s most notorious motorcycle gangs has been dealt a blow, with police dismantling an alleged clubhouse during a dramatic raid in Sydney’s southwest.

The Nomads Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG) has long been one of the most powerful bikie gangs in the state and a key focus for NSW Police, who stormed an industrial property where a large group of bikies were meeting on Friday night.

Just after 7.30pm officers from Raptor Squad stormed the warehouse in Yennora, which police said they suspect has been used as an unlicensed hangout for members and associates of the Nomads OMCG.

The bikies, covered in tattoos and wearing hoodies, could be seen lying on the ground and being forced onto their knees with their hands restrained, as officers swept through the property.

In April 2025, officers attached to the State Crime Command’s Raptor Squad commenced an investigation after individuals known to be members and associates of the Nomads OMCG were allegedly using a premises in Yennora as an unlicensed clubhouse. Picture: NSW Police

Each of the men received official consorting warnings under anti-gang laws.

The laws, which have been around since the early 1900s, have been widely used by police in recent decades in a bid to crackdown on bikie gangs and stop individuals from the clubs from associating together.

During the search, police located 12 individuals allegedly identified as members and associates of the Nomads OMCG gathered at the premises. Officers located and seized ledgers, a quantity of cash, alcohol, and unlicensed bar equipment.

A 41 year old man was charged with possessing a restricted substance, now set to appear at Liverpool local court on Monday.

Police said in a statement the Raptor Squad had launched their investigation in April after intelligence suggested the Nomads were operating on the premises in breach of liquor and licensing laws.
