The top performing primary and secondary schools on Sydney’s northern beaches in this year’s NAPLAN have been revealed.
Northern Beaches Secondary College’ Manly selective campus at North Curl Curl topped the list for high schools in the area and was the 12th highest performing secondary school across the entire state scoring an average of 702.8.
The independent John Colet School, at Belrose, had the best primary results than any other school in the area, scoring an average of 590.4.
Forestville Public School was the second best primary school for the region with an average score of 544.4, while the Covenant Christian School, at Belrose, was third best with an average score of 539.8.
The second best performing secondary school on the beaches for 2025 was Pittwater House, at Collaroy, where the average result was 624.4.
Northern Beaches Secondary College Mackellar Girls Campus, at Manly Vale, was the third best for the region with an average score of 618.
The Daily Telegraph’s analysis of the state’s highest performing schools in this year’s NAPLAN has revealed the most improved primary and high schools, and the top performing mainstream schools that outperformed both academically selective and elite private institutions.
Every school’s performance has been analysed by averaging year 5 and year 9 students’ reading, writing, spelling, grammar and numeracy results in the 2025 NAPLAN.
