Christmas Eve tragedy as father of two electrocuted on roof
A father of two young children working at a house in Sydney’s southwest has died after being electrocuted.

A 29-year-old contractor working at a house in Sydney’s southwest has died after being electrocuted.
Emergency services were called to a property on Jet Place in Eagle Vale just after 10am this morning after receiving reports a man was electrocuted while working on a roof.
A NSW police spokeswoman said upon arrival, police found the man dead.
Fire and rescue services arrived at the house shortly after, but were unable to revive him.
SES vehicles remained parked at the property late into the afternoon.
Friends of the man present at the scene disclosed that he was a father of two young children.
A crime scene has been established, and NSW Police are working alongside SafeWork NSW to investigate the circumstances surrounding the electrocution. .
An investigation is ongoing.
