The man charged over the brutal shooting of two brothers inside a Marrickville barber shop has been identified.

Criminal Groups Squad detectives have charged a man they will allege is the gunman involved in the brutal shooting of two brothers at a Marrickville barber shop in 2023, as part of the ongoing investigation under Strike Force Orsino.
The arrest follows a public shooting where William, 33, and Eric Siale, 20, were at Adel’s salon on busy Marrickville Rd at Marrickville, when a balaclava-clad gunman burst in and opened fire about 1.50pm on July 7, 2023.
William suffered serious injuries after being shot in the buttock and spine, while Eric was struck in the chest. Both men were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and rushed to hospital.
Shortly after the shooting, emergency responders discovered two burnt-out vehicles in Marrickville and Dulwich Hill, which police later linked to the crime scene.
The investigation, initially handled by Inner West Police Area Command, was later transferred to the State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups Squad under Strike Force Orsino. To date, 14 individuals have been charged in connection with the investigation and are currently before the courts.
Early Wednesday morning, detectives executed a search warrant in Edmondson Park, where they arrested 23-year-oldSamuel-Ryalnd Fietoutai Tepatasi Lehauli.
Lehauli was charged with two counts of shoot at with intent to murder, participate in a criminal group, supply prohibited drugs, and possess prohibited drugs.
On Thursday, Lehauli’s matter was briefly mentioned at Fairfield Local Court where he appeared via audio visual link from police custody.
He did not enter a plea.
Lehauli’s matter was adjourned to May 27 at Fairfield Local Court.
One of the most shocking arrests in the investigation came when LJ Hooker Dulwich Hill director Yianni Karakikes, was arrested by Strike Force Orsino detectives assisted by the NSW Crime Commission investigating an alleged crime syndicate discovered after the shooting of William and Eric Siale.
A number of alleged Comanchero bikies and Karakikes were arrested in sweeping raids over drug supply allegations that emerged during the police probe into the shootings.
Karakikes, who managed a Dulwich Hill rental where the alleged bikies are accused of storing cocaine, was charged with commercial drug supply, organising or assisting a drug premises, and participating in a criminal group.
Karakikes is not accused of any involvement or wrongdoing in relation to the shootings.
