The sister of a learner motorcyclist that tragically died in a fatal crash on the Mid North Coast has paid tribute to her brother who was “full of life, love and laughter”.
Mikhilea Gersbach, from Old Bar, has said the family is “heartbroken” that their “beloved brother” Jesse Gersbach was killed on April 24 in Forster in Coomba Park.
The single vehicle accident occurred around 4.30pm when Mr Gersbach went down an embankment and crashed into a tree.
“Jesse was full of life, love, and laughter, and his absence leaves an unimaginable hole in our lives,” Ms Gersbach said.
The family is calling on the community for assistance at this “heartbreaking time” for his funeral expenses and associated costs via a fundraiser.
“As we begin the difficult journey of saying goodbye, we want to honour him with the farewell he deserves.
“Thank you for your love, your prayers, and for keeping Jesse’s memory alive,” she said.
At the time of publication the community had raised $7500 for the family.
