Race to secure AFL Grand Final tickets kicks off

Saturday’s grand final between the Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions has prompted a rush on tickets to the game at the MCG.

If you missed out there are plenty of great spots in Sydney to watch the game live, including the home of the Swans – the SCG.

Kick-off is at 2.30pm AEST and pre-game entertainment, featuring US pop star Katy Perry, will start between 1.00pm and 1.30pm.

The AFL will be holding a watch party at the SCG from 1.30pm on Saturday.

The AFL has designated a number of Sydney pubs as ‘Swans Friendly’ where fans in their best supporter gear can gather and enjoy the game day atmosphere.

You can watch the game live on Channel 7 and Foxtel and Kayo will be airing pre-game entertainment and analysis, including the Longest Kick, and on Friday September 27 the 2024 Grand Final Parade from 9.00am.
