More than 100 people gathered at Mindil Beach Casino to celebrate the best emerging and long-time leaders from across the Territory.

The NT News Leader of the Year awards brought to you by Sitzler honoured some of the top contributors to the Territory through their selfless leadership and dedication.

There were 24 inspiring finalists who proved their leadership whether in health, in their community or at the top of a ground-breaking business.

Alice Springs health practitioner Helen Lamech took home the coveted Territory Leader of the Year crown, having also been named the Health and Wellbeing category winner.

SolarCity NT managing director Neill Carberry was named the People’s Choice winner while Shaun Pearce, Ryan Cooney, Shane Dignan, Danyelle Haigh and Tammy Karambetis also won accolades.
