Darwin accommodation: Halikos partners with IHG to launch first voco luxury Darwin CBD hotel

A leading international accommodation brand has been signed to manage Darwin’s next luxury hotel.

Developer JH Group – formerly Halikos – will team with InterContinental Hotels Group and Resorts to open voco Darwin Suites – the NT’s latest luxury offering located at the refurbished Health House building at 87 Mitchell Street.

Also called IHG, the global hotel group will be responsible for the marketing and branding of the voco Darwin Suites, which are expected to open later this year.

The development will feature an all-day dining restaurant, meeting space, fitness centre and outdoor pool.

Guest rooms will feature self-contained kitchenettes designed to cater to both short and extended-stay visitors.

IHG Hotels and Resorts development director Cameron Burke, said he was delighted to be partnering with JH Group and looked forward to having a presence in Darwin.

JH Group’s John Halikos, said he’s looking forward to the benefits the partnership will deliver.
