CHIEF Minister Michael Gunner has taken to social media to reveal the name of his newborn son.
“(On Friday) Kristy, Hudson and I were overjoyed to welcome Nash Michael Huckleberry Gunner to the family,” Mr Gunner wrote on Facebook.
He said Nash was a “big, happy lad of 3.8 kgs … and 48cm, with very strong lungs and a healthy appetite”.
“Hudson has been very gentle and loving when holding his new brother,” Mr Gunner said.
“Nash and mum have had a very good recovery sleep overnight and everyone is happy and healthy.”
Mr Gunner has been on parental leave in recent weeks ahead of his wife Kristy O’Brien’s expected delivery, but is expected to return for the looming Territory Budget on May 10.
He announced his wife was expecting back in December in a social media video.
Ms O’Brien gave birth to their first son, Hudson, in April 2020.
