The fashion and racing was on show but instead of horses it was crocodiles and frogs taking the spotlight as Territorians celebrated Melbourne Cup Day.
The Berry Springs Tavern was again the host of the world famous croc races with plenty of fun and good spirits had, including a croc-themed cocktail or two.
Alongside the races there was the Fashions of the Bush that drew a large crowd again as those rural side got to show off their best.
The Territory fun continued at the Noonamah Tavern where the annual frog auction and racing hopped into action.
Meanwhile, at Fannie Bay it was newly named 13-time Darwin champion trainer Gary Clarke who trained the feature race winner in Boldinho.
Ridden as usual by Jarrod Todd, the sixth year old registered its fifth win in succession, making light work of his top weight and his four rivals.
