Showers are less likely Tuesday when the Bureau of Meteorology forecasts a slight (20 per cent) chance of rain.

The UV index is predicted to be 8. There is a very high risk of harm from sun exposure. Skin can be damaged and burn quickly in today’s conditions. Experts suggest avoiding sun exposure around noon and keeping to the shade. General advice is to use eye protection, sunscreen and cover up.

Winds will be southeast around 7 km/h in the morning increasing to west-northwest around 12 km/h in the afternoon.
