THE Block contestant Suzi Taylor was found unconscious on the set of the reality TV show in South Yarra yesterday.
Ambulance Victoria was called to the set on Commercial Rd at 10.50am and found Taylor unconscious, 3AW reported.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.
Nine Network Australia spokeswoman Victoria Buchan said: “Suzi was suffering from exhaustion after a busy day with The Block open for inspections.”
“She was taken to hospital yesterday, but has since been discharged and is resting.”
Taylor won’t be at The Block open house which is an invite only look taking place from 7am-7pm today.
Taylor, 44, is a real estate agent from the Gold Coast and is competing on The Block with her friend Yvonne Cosier, 39.
Five teams have been renovating an apartment block on Commercial Rd as part of the series.
Taylor and Cosier have never renovated before and, as the oldest contestants on the show, they have admitted there were some clashes.
“You probably say things you would never normally say in everyday life,” Taylor has said.
“There were a few run-ins, but I don’t hold grudges. At the end ... we all gave each other a cuddle.”
Taylor created headlines in August after admitting she had posed for men’s magazine Penthouse 25 years ago.
The Herald Sun is seeking comment from Channel 9.
