A “remorseful” Nadia Bartel has apologised for her actions after a video emerged of her snorting a white powder.

The video that surfaced on social media shows the Melbourne socialite and former wife of AFL great Jimmy Bartel sniffing in a substance that appears to be cocaine.

The Herald Sun reports the video was captured on Thursday night.

The video, which was broadcast live on social media, has since been deleted.

Bartel took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to apologise for her behaviour, saying she had let everyone down by her actions.

“Hi Everyone, I have let you all down by my actions,” she wrote.

“I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future.

“To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.

“I am truly and deeply sorry. I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust. Nadia.”

The popular influencer has also removed all mentions of her business interests and sponsorships from her Instagram bio, including links to Spray Aus and her successful online fashion label Henne.

The footage has reportedly been raised with Victorian police, which is said to be making inquiries about a video on social media showing a gathering of people and alleged illicit drug use.

“The Department of Health is liaising with Victoria Police in relation to the alleged incident,” a Department of Health spokesman told the Herald Sun.

When asked about the video at his daily Covid-19 briefing, Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said he hadn’t yet seen the footage featuring Bartel.

“I would urge everybody to do their very best to follow the rules, all of the time. I know it’s tough, it’s very difficult,” he said.

“Beyond that, I don’t tend to comment on footage that I haven’t seen.”

The report claims the video was first published accidentally on the Instagram account of Bartel’s business partner Ellie Pearson.

The video shows a gathering of a small group of people at a time when Melbourne remains under strict lockdown restrictions.

The Geelong great and ex-wife Nadia parted ways in August 2019 following five years of marriage, but it was later revealed the former Cats star had quickly moved on with another woman, Melbourne socialite Lauren Mand.

Mand and the Channel 7 football commentator have since broken up.

Nadia and her ex-husband share custody of two sons; five-year-old Aston and three-year-old Henley.

Bartel last month left fans in awe when she flaunted her “killer figure” in nude G-string in a video she shared with her 556,000 Instagram followers.

She co-owns a fake tan company with friend and WAG Rebecca Judd, with the pair regularly posing in bikinis and cossies to promote its products.

Nadia also has a fashion label that she regularly poses for, often posing in Henne’s skin-tight activewear ranges.

Jimmy Bartel represented Geelong in 305 games over a stellar 14-year career, during which he won the Brownlow Medal in 2007 and the Norm Smith Medal in 2011.
