A man has been charged over his role in an alleged terrifying home invasion where a woman was allegedly tied up and robbed.
A man has been charged after a woman was allegedly tied up and robbed by masked thieves during a home invasion on Sydney’s lower north shore.
The 18-year-old man was allegedly part of a group of three who entered the home in Artarmon on November 3.
NSW Police say one was allegedly carrying a knife.
Police allege the men entered the back veranda of the Artarmon home and restrained a 49-year-old woman by tying her hands with cable ties, before stealing her phone.
It is alleged the men unsuccessfully attempted to restrain another woman, aged 52.
The men then allegedly stole cash from the home and left the premises.
The women were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries but did not require transportation to hospital.
On Tuesday, an 18-year-old man was arrested at a South Granville home following a search warrant being executed.
The man has been charged with kidnap in company with intent serious indictable occasion actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court.
