A VERY enthusiastic 6,000 PerthNow readers responded to the online exit poll in the closing hours of polling this afternoon, indicating which major party they voted for in today’s Federal election. Whether the result is reflective of the rest of the nation, it’s evident in WA, it’s not a clear-cut retention of power for the current government, with Labor taking 45% of the overall votes.
LABOR: 45%
LIBERAL: 38%
GREENS: 10%
INFORMAL: 7%
