A 44-year-old man has died in a Katherine home over the weekend, with police treating the incident as suspicious.
A man has died in suspicious circumstances in Katherine over the weekend.
Just before midnight on Saturday the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report that a 44-year-old man had been found unresponsive at a home on Needham Terrace, in Katherine East.
Emergency services responded and the man was declared dead at the scene, with an injury observed to his upper body.
The cause of death is still being investigated and at this stage police are treating it as suspicious.
