Police are appealing for the community’s help as they investigate a crash that killed a Gold Coast pedestrian.

Police are appealing for the community’s help as they investigate a crash that killed a Gold Coast pedestrian.

A silver Toyota Yaris hatchback hit the man as he was walking along Shipper Driver in Coomera on November 3 at around 12.30pm.

Paramedics rushed to the scene and assessed the 40-year-old pedestrian who had life-threatening injuries.

He died three days later at Gold Coast University Hospital.

The 34-year-old Toyota driver was not injured in the incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to investigate what happened prior to the crash.

Police are calling for anyone with information or dashcam footage to call 131 444.
